How to get rid of bad tangles

Due to its curly nature, Afro hair will always have a certain number of tangles. Curly hair will curl around the next hair. But it should not stick to the next hair. Your 4c hair should not have excessive tangles. When you detangle healthy hair, each hair glides around the next hair without snagging it or creating more knots. When the hair cuticle is healthy your curls glide around each other like a perfect waltz.

What can you do if you suffer from excessive tangling? You can detangle your hair, but before you can finish your whole head it has already begun to tangle again. Do not settle for excessive tangling. You can get rid of bad tangles. This will shorten your shampoo days and style time.

My number one solution against excessive tangles is to replace your shampoo with a bentonite clay cleanser. You can make your own clay wash or buy one that is already prepared. I have both of these solutions for you.

Easy Clay cleanser

1/3 cup of Bentonite clay

1/4 cup of Moroccan red clay

3/4 cup of filtered water

1 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar

Blend together until your mix is smooth and not runny.

How to get rid of single strand knots!!!

Does your hair constantly get single strands knots? Those knots that form on a single strand of hair.  Those knots are irreversible, but they are preventable. You want to get rid of them because they are a sign of unhealthy hair. Usually if you get lots of single strands knots you also have excessive tangles. Tangles and knots are not good for length retention or styling.

Here is my number one solution to get rid of single strand knots in 30 days or less.

1. Wash your hair with an all-natural cleanser, deep condition and follow up with an organic apple cider vinegar rinse.

2. Create an organic Apple cider vinegar rinse solution. Mix 1/4 cup of organic ACV with 2 cups of filtered water. This is one application so apply it all to the hair in one application. Create a fresh ACV rinse for each application.

How to use it

Cleanse hair with an all-natural hair cleanser
Deep condition hair
After your rinse out your deep conditioner.
Pour all of the ACV solution onto your soaking wet hair. Be sure to use it all and allow it to get to your scalp as well as all of your hair strands.
Leave on the ACV solution for 3 minutes.
Rinse hair with cool water for 1 minute
Do not towel dry your hair. Leave it soaking wet.
Follow up with your leave in conditioner and other products.

After one application you should see good improvement in your tangles or knots. Repeat these steps once a week for 4 weeks. Each week your hair will improve. By week 4 you should have no more single strand knots or bad tangles. Your hair should look more vibrant and tangle way less.

How to stretch Afro hair without heat!

Afro hair is beautiful in its curly crown of glory! But there are times, those with curly hair want to stretch their coils. Many use a blow dryer for quick stretches. Blow dryers are the second worst tool you can use on your hair. The curling iron is number one.

Blow dryers, remove all the moisture from your hair and that is not a good thing for coily hair. Magnetic rollers are a great healthy way to stretch your hair. You can buy these rollers from any beauty supply store. Get either large or extra-large. The very large rollers will give you the best stretch. Your stretch will be better than using a blow dryer and certainly healthier.

Roll hair on magnetic rollers while hair is wet. Apply leave in conditioner and a small amount of non-alcohol base setting lotion. Roll hair in medium to large sections. Do not make them too big that the rollers fall out easily.

TEN RECIPES THAT GROW YOUR HAIR LONG AND HEALTHY!

You can purchase large or extra-large. In general, you will need two packs. It does depend on how thick your hair is. Apply rollers and allow hair to air dry overnight. You will experience a beautiful stretch.

Honey for hair growth and moisture

Honey is a natural and inexpensive way to improve the health and appearance of your hair. Honey is a natural humectant. When used correctly it will help your hair to hold moisture longer.

Six ways honey is beneficial for the hair

Moisturizing: Honey is a natural humectant, meaning it attracts and retains moisture. This can help hydrate dry hair and prevent breakage.

Conditioning: The enzymes and nutrients in honey can nourish and strengthen hair, making it look shinier and smoother.

Antibacterial properties: Honey has natural antibacterial properties that can help to soothe and heal a dry or itchy scalp.

Antioxidants: Honey contains antioxidants that can help to protect hair from damage caused by free radicals.

Scalp health: The antimicrobial properties of honey can help to promote a healthy scalp and reduce dandruff and other scalp conditions.

Hair growth: Honey contains vitamins and minerals that can help to nourish hair follicles and stimulate hair growth.

Honey is all natural.  However, it's important to note that some people may be allergic to honey, so it's important to test it on a small area of skin before applying it to your hair.

Additionally, honey can be sticky and difficult to wash out of hair, so it's best to use it in moderation and rinse it thoroughly.
